Job summary

Sonic Drive-In, franchised by KBP Brands, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and support the Managing Partner in training, scheduling, and performance management.

You will oversee inventory, food safety, and customer issue resolution, while handling cash controls and expenses to drive growth and protect the brand. 18+ and 1 year AGM experience required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects and operate restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding Sonic standards and policies.
• Support the Managing Partner by leading the team in training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Oversee financial responsibilities, including cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth initiatives and protect Sonic’s brand reputation.
