Job summary

R&G Lounge in Las Vegas seeks an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and founders, translating vision into daily operations across service, people, and safety. This hands-on leader will open the venue, lead shifts, develop captains and FOH staff, and uphold elevated hospitality standards.

The role requires strong English communication, ability to direct guest experiences, and a background in high-volume dining with pre-opening experience.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of progressive restaurant leadership experience, including at least one year in a senior operating role (Assistant General Manager/GM).
• Clear English communication; Cantonese ability a plus.
• Track record of leading captains and frontline teams across multiple dayparts in high-volume service.
• Working knowledge of restaurant financials, scheduling, labor productivity, inventory, cash controls, and compliance.
• Experience opening a new restaurant or venue with pre-opening planning, hiring, training, and stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Openings and readiness: execute pre-opening plan, hiring, training, and inventories.
• Daily operations: oversee service, reservations, staffing, table flow, guest recovery, safety, and budgets.
• Leadership: coach captains and FOH staff; run meetings and performance conversations.
• Beverage program leadership: oversee ordering, inventory, costs, and compliance.
• Hospitality leadership: deploy captains, enforce service standards, and protect guest experience.
