Job summary

Reid's in Kentucky is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations across our specialty retail, café, and foodservice areas. You will lead a high-volume team with a hands-on approach, delivering exceptional service and upholding Reid’s quality, hospitality, and professional standards.

The ideal candidate has prior management experience, excels in communication, and can engage guests while managing staffing, inventory, and costs.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience
• Open to constructive feedback and detail-oriented
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities daily
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Desire and natural ability to engage guests with a strong service mindset
• Punctuality and reliability
• Awareness of time-off policies (two weeks notice; holiday blackout period)
• Ability to lift 25 lbs or more and stand/walk 8+ hours
• Ability to check in orders and coordinate with drivers
• Understanding of monthly margins and inventory expectations

• Ensure Reid’s Fine Foods quality throughout the operation.
• Assist with interviewing, training, and disciplinary actions.
