Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations across our travel plazas in the region. You will oversee store performance, coach a team, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold brand standards with strong discretionary judgment.

You’ll develop leaders, manage cash and inventory, and drive service excellence in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining flexible scheduling and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• Flexible and open work schedule.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.

Responsibilities

• Confidently delivering performance feedback, setting goals, fostering teamwork, and communicating business objectives.
• Supervise day-to-day operations of non-management staff, assign work, coach, and develop shift supervisors.
• Able to perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate and positively influence staff during low morale periods.
• Maintain leadership and organizational standards.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
