Applegreen is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily operations across our travel plazas. You will help lead teams, ensure service quality, and drive store performance while upholding brand standards and policies.

The role emphasizes leadership, customer service excellence, and flexibility in schedule, with opportunities to learn management skills and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations.
• Flexible and open work schedule.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and coach shifts supervisors.
• Step in for the general manager in their absence.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale during busy periods.
• Lead with strong organizational skills and timely issue resolution.
• Ensure policies and brand standards are followed and cash handling is accurate.
