Applegreen USA Welcome Centers in Clyde, OH is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced food-service environment.

You will lead a team, drive guest service excellence, manage shifts, and ensure brand standards while coaching staff and controlling costs. This role offers growth opportunities and a benefits package including health, retirement, and education support.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping people learn and grow the business.

• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen
• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations
• Flexible and open work schedule
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for confidently delivering performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.
• Ensure day-to-day supervision of non-management associates, assign work, focus on store level operation performance, coaching, and developing shifts supervisors.
• Must be able to competently perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate and positively influence staff, especially during times of low morale.
• Strong Leadership and organizational skills
• Addressing issues in a timely fashion
• Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintains awareness of brand standards and procedures to maximize brand/landlord/labor relations.
• Ensures restaurant looks clean and adheres to brand standards.
• Ensures cash management is accurate and reports are delivered per directives.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues, building lasting relationships.
• Ensures inventory data accuracy via spot counts.
