The One Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations, drive financial performance, and maintain a high-energy Vibe dining environment.

Lead and mentor managers and hourly staff, ensure service standards, oversee marketing initiatives, risk management, and daily reporting to the General Manager.

This role requires shift flexibility, strong guest focus, and the ability to recruit and train a top-performing team while adhering to policy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of restaurant management experience or one year as a Benihana manager with good performance and positive results.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
• Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license where applicable.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must agree to background check.
• ServSafe certified alcohol service certified preferred.
• Shift Flexibility: Must be able to work different shifts, include holidays, nights and weekends.
• Typical work week = 50 + hours.

• Oversee marketing strategies, risk management, and corporate mandates.
• Maintain daily reports and communicate updates to the General Manager.
• Recruit top talent and onboard management and hourly staff.
• Coach and train the team to foster productivity and morale.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Monitor sales, labor costs and operating expenses to maximize profitability.
• Drive sales through networking, marketing initiatives, and guest engagement.
• Collaborate with Marketing on promotions and guest relations.
