Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Florida seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager, train crew, and ensure fast, safe, friendly service. You will schedule staff, manage inventory, handle payroll records, and help develop marketing plans while upholding Quality Way values.

As a key leader, you will coach team members, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with labor laws and sanitation standards. This role is full-time with irregular hours and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience running shifts with or without supervision.
• Ability to work a minimum 5 day workweek including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and local health and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with all job duties and learn to perform them independently.
• Train, monitor, and coach crew, carhops, and skating carhops; direct staff as needed.
• Prepare employee work schedules and adjust staffing levels.
• Monitor inventory and place orders within cost control procedures.
• Complete drive-in employment and payroll records.
• Develop and implement a marketing plan.
• Prepare operational reports and develop action plans to address unfavorable trends.
