Job summary

Convive Brands is seeking an Assistant General Manager/Shift Lead in Los Angeles to lead from the floor, coach the team, and deliver exceptional hospitality. You will partner with the General Manager to recruit, onboard, develop leaders, and balance service with financial performance across shifts.

This hands-on role offers growth toward General Manager opportunities, a stable daytime-oriented schedule, and the chance to shape culture across our brand portfolio.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant leadership experience.
• Food Handlers License required.
• Proficiency in multiple languages a plus (Spanish/French/Arabic)

Responsibilities

• Lead from the floor during service, coaching in the moment and ensuring exceptional hospitality.
• Own the guest experience, anticipate needs and resolve concerns with empathy.
• Develop people and build culture, creating an environment where the team grows.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, develop, and retain a high-performing restaurant team.
• Lead opening, service, and closing with strong shift-to-shift communication.
• Manage labor deployment and balance guest experience with productivity.
