Job summary

Padel39 in North Dallas seeks an Assistant General Manager to be the GM's right hand, ensuring operational excellence and exceptional hospitality at our North Dallas location. You will lead front-of-house staff, coordinate events, manage vendor relationships, and maintain SOPs to deliver a flawless member experience.

You will drive daily operations, scheduling, and inventory control, with a focus on problem-solving and high standards.

Qualifications

• Three or more years managing a full-service bar, restaurant, or multi-concept venue.
• Proven leadership of hourly teams. You coach people, not just tasks.
• Strong operational instincts: scheduling, labor, reconciliation, inventory.
• Experience managing food vendors and vendor relationships.
• Comfortable with POS and scheduling systems (Union POS, 7shifts, Playtomic, Playbypoint, MarginEdge, Gusto). You learn new tools fast.
• TABC certification, or willingness to obtain it before opening.
• Ability to pick up padel club operations quickly.
• Available evenings and weekends during events and peak service.
• Opening or startup experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front desk and all hourly front-of-house staff with shift-level coaching and accountability.
• Oversee hospitality and F&B operations: bar, lounge, daytime cafe, inventory, ordering, invoicing.
• Manage daily open/close, checklists, and facility maintenance; ensure SOPs are followed and improved.
• Oversee events: tournaments, corporate and member events, staffing and vendor coordination.
• Enhance member experience by ensuring premium courts, lounges, and amenities are well-maintained.
