Job summary

Nbutexas, a chef-driven restaurant group, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily operations and drive guest experiences. You will work with the General Manager and leadership team to oversee front-of-house execution, coach the team, and uphold high service standards.

This role requires strong upscale-casual hospitality leadership and a polished, guest-focused presence. The ideal candidate will collaborate across floors, beverage and events teams, and help manage scheduling,

Qualifications

• Proven restaurant management experience in upscale-casual, full-service chef-driven settings.
• Strong hands-on leadership and team-building with coaching and accountability.
• Knowledge of labor management, cost control, inventory, and sales performance.
• Excellent communication, organization, and professional guest-facing presence.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, guest relations, beverage/wine, and dining tech.
• Passion for chef-driven cuisine and creating memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the restaurant team while maintaining high service standards.
• Lead FOH service coordination with beverage and events teams for smooth execution.
• Support scheduling, staffing, training, inventory, compliance, events, and daily operations.
• Enhance guest experience with a visible floor presence and proactive issue resolution.
• Assist with labor management, cost control, and sales initiatives.
• Support events, marketing via social media, and community engagement to strengthen reputation.
