Job summary

Wendy's is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily restaurant operations and drive sales goals at our Spring, TX location. You will lead front-line teams, manage schedules, and uphold quality service in a fast-paced environment.

The AGM will report to the General Manager and play a key role in training staff, maintaining financial controls, and ensuring health and safety standards while promoting a fun, family atmosphere for guests and crew alike.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in a high-volume food-service concept.
• Ability to work 50–55 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and access to private transportation.
• HS diploma or equivalent; must be able to pass background screening.
• Proven leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant daily operations under GM guidance.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls and reporting.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team members.
• Coach, counsel and develop staff; manage team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Maintain health and safety inspections and standards.
• Set the tone for a fun, family environment in the restaurant.
