Job summary

Trulieve in Reading, PA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in leadership of store personnel, inventory management, and daily operations, while ensuring compliant practices and exceptional customer care.

The role emphasizes training and developing a 40+ person team, maintaining brand standards, controlling labor budgets, and delivering a safe, friendly experience for patients and customers.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus.
• Must have prior cash handling experience.
• Must possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employees.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion.
• Able to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, and understand safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to plan and implement strategies to drive service standards and positive sales results
• Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
• Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state specific regulations
• Review, communicate and ensure compliance with all company SOPs and work with the general manager to assure changes are communicated to employees
• Provide coaching, training, and development to the team focused on service standards and accountability to meet objectives
• Monitor and maintain store inventory
• Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations when on duty
• Maintain professional relationships with business partners
• Assist the General Manager in managing labor budget
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
