About the Restaurant

This restaurant is owned and operated by an independent franchisee and is not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald’s trademarks and food products, but is a separate employer responsible for all employment matters.

Position Overview

The Assistant General Manager supports the operation of a profitable restaurant and ensures that the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to set restaurant goals and develop action plans to achieve them.
• Lead Department Managers, guiding them to set goals, monitor progress, and provide coaching and direction to improve departmental performance.
• Recruit, hire, and develop Department and Shift Managers as needed.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to maintain high standards of quality, service, safety, and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager or Department Manager in a high‑volume location.
• Background in quick‑service restaurants strongly desired; experience in hospitality or retail also acceptable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate approximately $24.00 – $29.00, potential for a salaried position; starting wages depend on experience and location volume.
