The restaurant is owned and operated by an independent franchisee and is not a McDonald’s USA store. The franchisee is the sole employer and will be responsible for all employment matters.

Job Description

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service and Cleanliness. The General Manager works with his or her leader to set restaurant goals and develop a plan to achieve them.

The General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, each with specific responsibilities. The manager assists Department Managers in setting their own goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve their departments. By improving the Departments, the restaurant’s overall performance improves.

The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to build and maintain a capable team.

Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations. A background in quick‑service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. Candidates must be 18 years or older.
