Pagoda Asian Grill is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager lead a dedicated team and ensure exceptional guest service in our fast-paced, guest-focused restaurant.

You will drive daily operations, mentor staff, manage scheduling, ensure safety and quality, monitor financial performance, and contribute to local marketing and community engagement.

This role offers a strong path for growth within a growing brand and opportunities to advance from within.

Qualificações

• Previous leadership experience in quick-service or fast-casual settings.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual English and Spanish a plus.
• Basic financial acumen.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of Asian cuisine and healthy dining options a plus.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Job Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership and Development: Assist the General Manager in leading, motivating, and mentoring a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
• Training and Continuous Learning: Facilitate training programs for team members, emphasizing continuous learning and development to enhance skills and performance.
• Operational Excellence: Collaborate in scheduling and managing employee shifts effectively, ensuring optimal staffing levels and contributing to the smooth day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Quality and Compliance: Support daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining high food quality, consistency, and cleanliness.
• Customer Service Focus: Participate in upholding a culture of outstanding customer service, ensuring memorable experiences for customers and addressing feedback promptly.
• Financial Management: Support the General Manager in managing the restaurant’s budget and financial performance, including sales targets and cost control.
• Community Engagement: Participate in local marketing efforts to increase restaurant visibility and community engagement.
