Job summary

Cafe Zupas is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations with a focus on hospitality and team development. The role offers a defined career path, with six raises toward a General Manager, and a quarterly bonus plan.

No Sundays and a predictable schedule support work-life balance, plus two days off each week. The candidate will mentor staff, coordinate shifts, and build authentic guest relationships in a fast-paced, positive environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of leadership experience in the restaurant or retail industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality/Restaurant management is a plus.
• Available to work a five day set schedule.
• Experience mentoring a team.
• Detail-oriented, growth-minded and a self-starter.
• Enthusiastic, positive and genuine.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant (front or back of house).
• Develop team members by providing direction and feedback.
• Cultivate a culture of positivity and gratitude within the team.
• Form authentic relationships with guests.
