Job summary

LOCAL Public Eatery in Dallas seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead a dynamic team and deliver memorable hospitality for guests and partners. You will mentor staff, drive service quality, and partner with leadership to grow the business.

This role emphasizes coaching, daily operations, safety compliance, and guest experience. You will help recruit, retain, and develop talent while upholding our community, warmth, and value-driven brand.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years leadership experience in hospitality; strong coaching ability.
• Must have or obtain valid local Food Handler and Alcohol Server permits.
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Duties

• Foster a cohesive and collaborative team environment through exemplary leadership.
• Provide guests with friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience.
• Exude professionalism, friendliness and funtowards fellow partners, guests, vendors, business associates, etc.
• Resolve service issues and guest complaints with a sense of urgency, poise, and good judgment. It’s Your Business.
• Assist with managing store sales, budgets, cost of goods, and labor.
• Supervise and guide our service and experience standards and provide impactful coaching as needed.
• Build sales opportunities and positive guest experiences.
• Fulfill recruitment needs, impact positive candidate experience and selection and retain your team.
• Support with training and development of technical knowledge and execution.
• Communicate daily focus and feedback to service and kitchen teams.
• Follow all food and alcohol service and handling safety precautions and procedures.

• Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
