Job summary

The Post Oak in Amarillo, TX seeks an experienced restaurant operations leader to oversee daily dining service, manage costs, scheduling, and staff development in a high-volume, full-service setting.

You will partner with the General Manager on invoices, reporting, and payroll-related tasks, uphold cleanliness and appearance standards, ensure top guest satisfaction, and mentor team members through ongoing feedback and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of senior level management experience in a full-service, high-volume dining establishment.
• Extensive front of house knowledge; Advanced knowledge of financial aspects.
• Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs across food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.
• Assist the General Manager with invoices, reporting, and payroll-related administrative duties as required.
• Maintain professional restaurant image, cleanliness, uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Ensure positive guest service; investigate complaints and take actions to convert dissatisfied guests into return guests.
• Manage shifts, including scheduling and planning, ensuring high-quality food and service.
• Provide direction to employees, give ongoing feedback, set performance expectations, and conduct reviews.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs
• Assist the General Manager in ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Investigate and respond to complaints, taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
• Manage shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling, planning while ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service
• Provide direction to employees regarding operations and procedural issues while developing employees by providing ongoing feedback, establish performance expectations and by conducting performance reviews
