Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a hands-on service/fleet support attendant to fuel, grease, inspect, and service heavy construction equipment. You will maintain oil and lubricant inventory and ensure clean, safe work areas. Responsibilities include safety compliance, documentation, and occasional travel to sites.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with fueling, greasing, and basic fluid services on heavy construction equipment.
• Support equipment inspections and report leaks or service concerns.
• Help maintain inventory of oils, filters, and lubricants on the service truck.
• Keep equipment and service areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
• Complete and submit basic service documentation as required.
• Travel to job sites as directed and assist with daily fueling schedules.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Willingness to travel and work early mornings or extended hours
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working around heavy equipment or in a construction environment
• Mechanical aptitude or prior shop/fleet support experience
• Interest in growing into a technician or CDL fuel truck operator role
