Lakeviewrock in North Salt Lake, Utah, seeks a Field Service Lube Technician to service construction and mining equipment. Responsibilities include traveling to job sites, performing maintenance, and communicating with Foreman for scheduling.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with prior heavy equipment technician experience preferred.
• Must have an acceptable driving record and ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites in the Service/Lube Truck.
• Change oil, filters, and perform other services on equipment.
• Inspect equipment for needed repairs and perform basic repairs.

Job description

Description

Field Service Lube Technician needed to join our team. Technician will perform services on a variety of construction and mining equipment, including but not limited to mobile power generators, dozers, wheel loaders, track hoes, and off road forklifts. Operate service/lube truck and travel to equipment locations. Change Oil, Filters, and grease equipment. Fuel mobile equipment and preform preliminary inspections and report needed repairs to mechanics.

Job Duties

• Travel to job sites in Service/Lube Truck
• Maintain proper D.O.T. records.
• Perform services on equipment i.e: change oil, filters and other fluids as needed for scheduled level of service.
• Communicate with Foreman and Superintendents to schedule service times.
• Inspect equipment for needed repairs or preventative maintenance.
• Ability to read and comprehend operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Complete service reports, and inspection reports.
• Obtain fluid samples from equipment.
• Preform basic repairs to equipment and vehicles.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, operate vehicles safely and courteously.
• Work outside in all weather conditions on and under vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (Required)
• Mechanically inclined
• Previous heavy equipment technician experience (Preferred)
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
