Job description

We are seeking an experienced Grease/Lube Technician to perform preventative maintenance and lubrication services on a variety of heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles. This position will work out of both the shop and a field lube truck, servicing equipment on active job sites as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working independently.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform routine greasing, lubrication, and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment and fleet vehicles
• Operate a shop and field lube truck to service equipment at project sites and in the yard
• Check, change, and top off fluids including engine oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, and gear oil
• Inspect equipment for leaks, worn components, and maintenance concerns
• Identify and report mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns to supervisors or mechanics
• Maintain service intervals and complete required maintenance documentation accurately
• Assist with minor maintenance and support shop mechanics as needed
• Keep lube truck, tools, and service areas clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Follow all company safety procedures and job site requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Grease/Lube Technician, heavy equipment service technician, or similar maintenance role required
• Experience servicing construction and heavy civil equipment preferred
• Strong understanding of lubrication schedules, fluid service, and preventative maintenance practices
• Ability to work in both shop and field environments
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service responsibilities
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather and job site conditions
