Job Opportunity: Assistant Front Office Manager at Miraval Austin Resort and Spa

The Role

The Assistant Operations Manager oversees daily functions of Arrival Hosts, Bell/Valet, PBX, Night Audit, and Transportation, enhancing guest experience primarily in Front Office, Guest Services, and Transportation, with occasional support in Housekeeping and Laundry. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Manage Arrival Center Functions: Oversee arrival and departure processes, Bell/Valet, PBX, Night Audit, and Transportation.
  2. Cultivate Positive Culture: Foster an inclusive and engaging environment among colleagues and guests.
  3. Thoughtful and Anticipatory Service: Proactively enhance guest and colleague experiences.
  4. Expense Control: Manage expenses while maintaining high customer service standards.
  5. Maintain Guest Room Inventory: Handle room assignments and upsell opportunities.
  6. Resolve Guest Concerns: Address issues promptly and effectively.
  7. Colleague Development: Coach and support team members.
  8. Ensure Proper Staffing: Maintain appropriate staffing levels and schedules.
  9. Guest Billing Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing queries and complaints.
  10. Transportation Oversight: Manage resort transportation and liaise with third-party partners.
  11. Conduct Meetings: Lead department meetings and pre-shift briefings.
