Sunbelt Rentals in Riverside, CA is seeking an Assistant Foreman to support project execution, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with project leadership. You will assist in mobilization and decommissioning of equipment, daily operations, and delivery optimization.

You will work with pumping systems, power distribution, HVAC, and energy systems, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and projects stay on schedule. Strong mechanical/technical skills and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or education in mechanics/engineering a plus.
• Experience with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, A/C and heat/water restoration or construction equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical/electronic interfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers, team members, and internal resources.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist and lead setup and teardown of equipment for various systems (pumping, power, HVAC, energy).
• Participate in rapid deployment and management of resources for disaster restoration and emergency response.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with company policies and best practices.
• Identify hazards and implement controls to minimize risk on projects.
• Collaborate with Project Leads to monitor timelines and resource allocation; ensure on-time delivery and client satisfaction.
