The role reports to the Food & Beverage Operations Manager and requires strong leadership, inclusion, and collaboration across departments to maintain luxury standards and an enduring guest experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High school education or equivalent experience.
• Experience: College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required.
• Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the Room Service and Banquet Department to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote public relations, and handle guest requests and complaints.
• Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods; provide knowledge of wine and spirits.
• Coordinate set-up requirements for hotel and off-site functions; ensure timely execution of functions.
• Process payroll and gratuity reports as required.
• Prepare banquet checks with all back-up for collection at the end of functions.
