Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to support daily operations at the Indianapolis location. You will oversee front-of-house teams, coach staff, manage scheduling and inventory, and uphold safety and guest service standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring costs, implementing improvements, and contributing to local promotion efforts. A degree in Hospitality or Business is preferred, with a strong focus on team development and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in restaurant supervisory or lead roles.
• At least 1 year front-of-house duties such as host, server, or guest service.
• Proven ability to coach and develop team members.
• Experience scheduling, inventory control, and labor management.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager in executing operational plans aligned with company objectives.
• Assist in monitoring labor, food, and operating costs to meet budgets.
• Review guest satisfaction reports and implement corrective actions.
• Provide daily oversight to ensure high-quality products and guest service.
• Support sales-building initiatives, local marketing, and promotions.
• Recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, and development of team members.
• Lead shifts by coaching, motivating, and holding staff accountable.
• Ensure facilities, equipment, and assets are properly maintained and safe.
• Foster teamwork and effective communication across the team.
• Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency.
