Hyatt Regency Houston Downtown is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to lead high-volume F&B operations in a vibrant downtown setting. You will partner with F&B managers to schedule, train, and develop hourly staff while driving revenue and guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and a hands-on leadership style. Open scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, with an emphasis on service excellence and cost control.

Qualifications

• At least one year of high-volume restaurant and/or bar management experience.
• Exceptional communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and leadership; able to work with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Support F&B operations of the hotel as part of a team with other F&B managers.
• Coordinate scheduling and training of hourly staff.
• Drive revenue and guest satisfaction while ensuring compliance with laws and procedures.
• Lead and mentor a team of hourly colleagues; promote strong communication.
• Handle guest concerns with a high level of service.
• Ensure cost controls and inventory management.

Join the team at Hyatt Regency Houston Downtown as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. Located in the heart of downtown Houston, our hotel offers 955 guest rooms, 4 F&B outlets and more than 71,000 square feet of meeting and event space, creating an exciting environment for business travel, conventions, dining -and special events.

The role works as a team with other F&B Managers and supervisors to support the F&B operations of the hotel. Responsibilities may include scheduling and training, driving revenue, managing a team of hourly colleagues, resolving guest concerns and upholding a high level of Customer Service, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. This is a hands‑on role that supports the team by guiding and working alongside them. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager must have strong communication and analytical skills. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful.

This position requires open schedule availability; including evening shifts and will includeweekends and holidays.
