Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field is required.
- ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
- Internship or related consulting experience is preferred.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in codes, NFPA standards, and API guidelines is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in design, specification, and coordination of fire protection systems.
- Support hydraulic calculations and other fire protection analyses.
- Assist with evaluating life-safety requirements and building codes.
- Support construction administration, site inspections, and testing.
- Assist in budgeting, cost estimates, and project documentation.
- Maintain safety policies and collaborate with clients and field personnel.
