Job summary

The role requires strong communication, project leadership, and the ability to develop new business opportunities while maintaining client satisfaction. This is a full-time on-site position with an extensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Fire Protection Technology or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with building codes, fire codes, NFPA standards, FM Global datasheets, military standards, and API guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and multi-discipline coordination of fire protection systems (wet-pipe, dry-pipe, pre-action, deluge, foam/water).
• Perform hydraulic calculations for fire water supply and demand.
• Lead building life-safety evaluations including egress and hazards.
• Coordinate with field personnel; review contractor drawings and calculations; perform site inspections.
• Prepare technical reports for clients and publications.
• Build relationships with clients, customers and contractors; develop new business opportunities.
• Prepare project budgets and track performance; ensure QA/QC adherence.
