Job summary

Ledgent, Inc. in the Los Angeles area seeks an Assistant Finance Director to manage day-to-day financial functions, budgets, and executive reporting. You will lead financial modeling, forecasting, and policy adherence, working closely with the executive team on diverse matters.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Business Admin, CPA and/or MBA, and biotech/pharma industry experience, plus strong leadership, communication, and systems skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is needed.
• CPA and/or MBA are extremely preferred.
• Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience is required.
• Proven leadership in fiscal budget consolidation and preparation experience.
• Big 4 experience is ideal.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential.
• Must have strong technical / systems skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial functions for the company.
• Manage fiscal budget management and strategic analysis.
• Provide executive reporting and financial statement analysis.
• Lead investment planning and budget planning activities.
• Consolidate and prepare fiscal budgets and conduct financial modeling.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting and forecasting.
• Ensure adherence to efficient financial policies and procedures, collaborating with executive management.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

CPA and/or MBA
