Amgen, a leading biotech company in the Washington, DC area, is seeking a 2027 Finance Manager (FSLDP) to join our finance team. You will provide financial analysis, long-range planning, budgets, and forecasting to support strategic decisions.

The role requires an MBA in its final year (by summer 2027), a minimum 3.0 GPA, and at least three years of experience in sophisticated financial modeling, preferably in biotech or healthcare.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in final year of an MBA program; graduation by summer 2027
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 in current program
• MBA in progress with strong quantitative skills
• Experience in sophisticated financial modeling in biotech/healthcare is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis services to assigned areas within Finance
• Prepare long-range plans, budgets, forecasts, and capital investment analyses
• Support senior management with financial insights for key decisions
• Identify opportunties to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Develop benchmarks for prioritization and portfolio management
• Educate and advise management on financial policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other Finance teams as needed
