Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking an Assistant Construction Superintendent for an on-site role in Loveland, CO. The incumbent will ensure safety, manage craft supervision, coordinate trade partners, and maintain four-week scheduling while controlling costs and quality to meet customer expectations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field and at least five years of construction management experience, with strong MS Office and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field; equivalent education/experience.
• Five (5) years’ experience in construction management or related field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to function in a high‑performance team.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, facilities operations and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is integrated into project planning and execution.
• Coordinate with Foreman and project team on self-performed work.
• Support material handling and site utilization planning.
• Oversee scheduling, cost records, and quality control.
• Lead weekly scheduling meetings with trade partners and foremen.
