Job summary

The Maschhoffs is seeking an Assistant Feed Mill Manager for our Gothenburg, NE location. This role supports daily feed mill operations, driving efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance while developing leadership skills for future management responsibilities.

The position requires 1–2 years in Agriculture or related field, a BS degree preferred, and a strong emphasis on teamwork, cost control, and customer service. Travel to other mills and facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• 1-2 years in Agriculture or related field required; 2-3 years may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of feed manufacturing, grain handling, quality control, and regulatory procedures.
• Assist with daily feed manufacturing and transportation schedules for timely delivery.
• Support ingredient procurement, receiving, inventory control, and variance monitoring.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance productivity, safety, and engagement.
• Assist with annual operating plans, budgets, and monthly financial reviews.
