Job summary

The Maschhoffs is seeking a Feed Mill Operator to manage daily production of animal feed in our Nebraska facility. You will operate equipment, process ingredients, and ensure accurate records of production and inventory while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include loading feed, adjusting equipment, and coordinating with maintenance to keep processes running smoothly. 1–3 years in agriculture preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of agriculture and feed operation practices and procedures.
• Basic understanding of computer operations.
• 2) Skill in: Following oral and written communications, time management, organizational skills.
• 3) Ability to: Work independently and in a team; desire to learn new skills and technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to process and manufacture feed per SOP.
• Prioritize daily production order and maintain production records.
• Maintain records of antibiotics used and reconcile with inventory.
• Assist in loading and delivering complete feed.
• Ensure proper adjustments in Feed Office Pro for delivery deviations.
• Maintain pellet mill operation and quality of pellets.
• Receive and process ingredients; manage inventory flow and bin clean out.
• Monitor grain quality and grain drying records; conduct quality checks.
