Job summary

Chainalysis Government Solutions is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) to implement security policy, manage DoD personnel clearances, and liaise with government customers and security authorities. You will support the FSO in maintaining the NISP program, ensure compliance with ICDs, and help keep the organization prepared for audits.

The role involves processing Secret/Top Secret clearances, SCI eligibility, and continuous vetting, with onsite duties and potential after-hours

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance required; Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) Polygraph highly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree with 3–5 years of experience in industrial security or personnel security administration.
• Proven ability to navigate USG security systems (DISS/NISS/SWFT/eAPP).
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage personnel security clearance actions (Secret and Top Secret).
• Review SF-86 submissions for completeness and accuracy.
• Submit investigation requests and monitor status; track adjudication results.
• Maintain clearance records in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117.
• Coordinate SCI nominations and access determinations; manage SCI rosters and visits.
• Support security education, training, and awareness programs.
