Chainalysis Government Solutions in Ashburn, VA is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) to implement personnel security policies and support DoD missions. You will process clearances, maintain records, and coordinate with DCSA, CSOs, and program managers to ensure audits pass.

Qualifications

• Citizenship in the U.S. is required.
• Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance, TS/SCI, and polygraph highly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree with minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial security or personnel security administration.
• Expertise in navigating DISS, NISS, SWFT,eAPP and similar USG systems.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with willingness to contribute across cross-team functions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategies that maintain security posture while enabling business outcomes.
• Ability to be onsite at a facility within a 60 minute response time, with potential on‑call duties.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage personnel security clearance actions (Secret and Top Secret) in DISS.
• Review and validate SF-86 submissions for completeness and accuracy.
• Submit investigation requests and monitor investigation status.
• Track adjudication results and eligibility determinations.
• Maintain clearance records in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117.
• Coordinate SCI visit requests and verify eligibility.
• Support the FSO to ensure successful government audits of our Industrial Security program.
