Job description

Chainalysis Government Solutions (CGS) is a wholly-owned Chainalysis subsidiary that provides blockchain intelligence solutions, including technology, training, and services to law enforcement, defense, intelligence and regulatory customers across the U.S. Government.

Blockchain technology is powering a growing wave of innovation. Businesses and governments around the world are using blockchains to make banking more efficient, connect with their customers, investigate criminal cases and track transnational threats. As the adoption of blockchain technology grows, more and more organizations seek access to all this ecosystem has to offer. That’s where Chainalysis comes in. We provide complete knowledge of what’s happening on blockchains through our data, services, and solutions. With Chainalysis, organizations can navigate blockchains safely and with confidence.

We're looking for an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) who can both implement policy and processes around personnel and clearances, and partner with our business leaders in support of our National Security and Department of Defense (DoD) missions.

You'll support the FSO in ensuring compliance with security policies, regulations and processes, while also enabling CGS to get people and resources where they’re needed most.

This role requires close collaboration with Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency (DCSA) Industrial Security Representatives and similar cognizant security offices for U.S. National Security agencies to address issues. You will support the FSO to ensure successful government audits of our Industrial Security program. This will require interfacing with Program Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure business expectations are met.

In this role you will support some Safety and Security aspects for all CGS personnel, such as the international travel safety program, executive protection for special events, and overseeing office security.

The ideal candidate is resourceful and will challenge conventional approaches to find better ways to navigate intricate bureaucracies. They'll execute important processes, reimagining and optimizing along the way to ensure faster outcomes that align with our customers' compliance requirements.

  • Conduct clearance verifications and reciprocity requests.
  • Manage Continuous Vetting (CV) enrollment and compliance.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive security education, training, and awareness programs for internal employees.
  • Where needed, create engaging and informative security content to be delivered to internal employees.
  • Process SCI nomination packages and coordinate with Cognizant Security Authorities (CSAs) and Special Security Offices (SSOs).
  • Track and conduct SCI indoctrinations, debriefings, and access determinations.
  • Maintain SCI access rosters and visit certifications.
  • Coordinate SCI visit requests and verify eligibility.
