What this job involves:

As an Assistant Facility Manager at JLL, you will partner closely with the Senior Facilities Manager to help deliver exceptional operational performance across client sites while supporting a safe, efficient, and high-performing workplace environment.

This role is responsible for overseeing daily facilities operations, work order management, vendor coordination, preventive maintenance programs, and client service delivery while ensuring alignment with operational goals, budgets, and service level expectations.

At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees — and this role offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative culture focused on innovation, operational excellence, and service quality.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Partner with the Senior Facilities Manager to support the strategic direction of facilities operations and maintenance programs across assigned sites.

Oversee daily work order management activities, ensuring timely follow‑up with customers, technicians, and vendors to deliver a positive service experience.

Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and facilities staff to ensure work is executed efficiently, safely, and with minimal disruption to client operations.

Conduct routine site inspections to maintain high standards across building services, preventive maintenance programs, and operational compliance.

Support bidding, contracting, and execution of operational maintenance and facility‑related projects in partnership with sourcing and operations teams.

Monitor service level agreements and key performance indicators to ensure operational effectiveness and continuous improvement.

Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, landlords, tenants, and service partners while responding proactively to operational needs.

Assist with budget tracking, variance reporting, cost savings initiatives, and capital improvement planning to support financial performance objectives.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that promotes safety, operational excellence, and continuous learning, reflecting JLL’s culture of collaboration locally and across the globe.

Required qualifications:
  • 3+ years of facilities management experience within a corporate, manufacturing, healthcare, or commercial real estate environment.
  • Experience supporting facilities management operations within a fast‑paced commercial, industrial, or corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage work orders, vendors, and preventive maintenance programs while maintaining high service standards.
  • Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Familiarity with building systems, facilities operations, and maintenance coordination practices.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and maintain strong organizational standards.
  • Experience working with CMMS platforms and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel reporting capabilities.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Ability to support budget management activities, cost control initiatives, and operational reporting requirements.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience using Corrigo CMMS or similar facilities management systems.
  • Knowledge of service level agreement management, KPI tracking, and vendor performance oversight.
  • Experience supporting capital improvement projects and operational process improvements.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving and root cause analysis capabilities within facilities operations.
  • Experience promoting workplace safety programs and supporting compliance initiatives.
