The Assistant Facilities and Maintenance Director is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance to all City facilities and street lighting systems. This role also includes assisting the Facilities and Maintenance Director, as needed, in the oversight and management of all aspects of building maintenance, including HVAC systems, HVAC control systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, security systems, communication systems, elevators, fire alarm systems, contracted projects, preventive maintenance contracts, and street lighting systems. This position requires expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, lighting controls system, and street lighting control systems. The Assistant Director serves as the back-up to the Director of Facilities and Maintenance in their absence.
Monday thru Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, union position with a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, vision, dental, short term disability insurance, a pension, and generous paid time off. Pay range General Government 18: $28.43 to $36.76 per hour.
