Job summary

Salt Lake City Marriott University Park in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. You will assist leading teams across four outlets, maintain service standards, and help manage scheduling, inventory, and costs while supporting the F&B Manager.

The role emphasizes supervising staff, ensuring safety, and adapting staffing to demand, with primary PM shifts and some morning/mid shifts as needed. Salary ranges are provided and hotel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of experience in a full-service restaurant or bar management (hotel preferred).
• Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages.
• Food & Alcohol Safety Certificates; must acquire within 15 days from hire if not held.
• Good problem-solving ability and professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Hotel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uphold food & beverage service standards and safety protocols.
• Supervise and coach service staff.
• Adjust staffing based on business demands and forecasts.
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, ordering, and cost control.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across all outlets.
• Step in for the F&B Manager when needed.
