Job summary

The Twelve Thirty Club in Nashville is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Director to oversee daily operations across restaurant, bar, and event spaces. You will partner with culinary and beverage leadership to maintain service standards, drive guest satisfaction, and manage budgets in a high-volume setting.

You will lead staffing, scheduling, and planning to support multiple outlets, while coaching and developing managers and hourly team members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in full-service, high-volume food & beverage operations.
• Support the Food & Beverage Director in leading daily operations across restaurant, bar, and event spaces.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of budgets, financial reporting, labor management, inventory, and cost controls.
• Partner with culinary and beverage leadership to maintain consistent service, product quality, and operational standards.
• Lead daily decision making, staffing, scheduling, and planning to support business needs.
• Create memorable guest experiences and handle guest concerns with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Bring a strong knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and beverage service.
• Coach and develop managers and hourly team members, fostering accountability, collaboration, and growth.
• Maintain standards for cleanliness, food safety, and responsible alcohol service.
• Understand POS systems, OpenTable or similar reservation platforms, and tools used for scheduling and financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve service, strengthen operational efficiency, and drive revenue.
