Ideal candidates bring optical sales experience, leadership ability, and bilingual English/Spanish skills to lead a team, monitor performance, and ensure policy compliance across promotions, merchandising, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading and speaking both English and Spanish.
• Optical sales experience; supervising experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills for effective management of teams.
• Strong organizational skills for planning and monitoring progress.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and policy compliance.
• Convey commitment to outstanding customer service and coach staff.
• Review remakes and enforce quality and policy compliance.
• Communicate with General Manager, District Manager and Corporate Office.
• Ensure promotions and visual merchandising are implemented and communicated.
• Supervise Opticians and Sales associates and ensure daily tasks are completed.
• Assist with staffing forecasts, recruitment and retention of staff.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
• Ensure licensing or credential requirements are met where applicable.
