Job summary

Hilton’s Hotel del Coronado seeks an Assistant Executive Steward to lead stewarding operations across F&B and banquets, reporting to the Executive Steward. You will guide a team of up to 50, ensuring top-tier cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in a high-volume resort environment.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, operations oversight, and collaboration with culinary and catering teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences at a historic property on Coronado Island near San Diego.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of food & beverage management experience in high-volume operations
• Experience handling administrative duties is required
• Union experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support inventory control: coordinate, distribute, store, and maintain items for all operations
• Monitor sanitation standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure functionality of service equipment
• Assist with cost management and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Support team performance, scheduling, coaching, evaluations, and recognition
• Uphold regulatory standards and alcohol awareness requirements across the property
