Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking an Assistant Executive Steward at Vdara in Las Vegas to oversee assigned kitchen operations and support the guest experience with exceptional service.

You will supervise staff, ensure cleanliness and sanitation, and manage equipment and inventory while contributing ideas for improvements and cost controls. This role requires 21+ and CBA experience, with varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2+ years of experience in stewarding or administrative operations supervision.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with employees covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned operational functions within the department.
• Supervise the delivery and measurement of guest service to standards and brand attributes.
• Oversee hiring recommendations, training, coaching, performance feedback, scheduling, and discipline as needed.
• Provide ideas for new products, services, technology, and processes.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and kitchen areas to ensure cleanliness and sanitary procedures.
