Located at MGM Resorts' Vdara in Las Vegas, the Assistant Executive Steward oversees assigned kitchen operations, staffing, and departmental standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will supervise onboarding, training, scheduling, and equipment inventory, ensuring cleanliness and cost control.

Candidates must be 21+, with 2+ years in stewarding or operational supervision, and experience with a Collective Bargaining Agreement. Weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in stewarding or administrative operations supervision.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience with a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned operational functions within the department in line with plans and budgets.
• Ensure guest service is delivered according to standards and brand attributes.
• Oversee staff hiring, training, coaching, scheduling and performance feedback.
• Suggest improvements for products, services, technology and processes.
• Inspect equipment and kitchen areas for cleanliness and sanitation.
• Manage equipment requisitions and inventory for dinnerware and glassware.
