Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking an Assistant Executive Steward for Excalibur to lead assigned operations, supervise staff, and uphold the brand's service standards. You will drive guest experiences by ensuring cleanliness, inventory control, and efficient procurement while supporting budget goals.

The role requires leadership in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of stewarding or administrative operations supervision.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Willing to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience managing employees covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned operational functions within the department.
• Oversee guest service consistent with brand standards.
• Supervise staff including hiring recommendations, training, coaching, performance feedback and scheduling.
• Provide ideas for new products, services, technology and processes.
• Inspect equipment and kitchen areas for cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintain inventory and recordkeeping for dinnerware, flatware and glassware; order china, glassware, and silverware.
