Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Executive Steward at Excalibur to lead assigned operations and ensure superb guest experiences while maintaining brand standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of stewarding or supervisory experience, is 21+, can work varied shifts including weekends/holidays, and has experience with employees under a CBA. Excellent wellness, dining discounts, free meals, parking, and growth programs are offered.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older.
• 2+ years of stewarding or supervisory operations experience.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience managing employees under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned operational functions within the department per plan and budget.
• Oversee guest service delivery to align with brand standards.
• Supervise staff, including hiring recommendations, training, coaching, and scheduling.
• Provide ideas for new products, services, tech, and process improvements.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and kitchen areas for cleanliness and safety.
• Requisition new or replacement equipment as needed.
• Approve and monitor supply requisitions to control costs without compromising quality.
• Maintain inventory and records for dinnerware, flatware, and glassware.
