Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Executive Steward at Mandalay Bay to supervise dining operations, uphold service standards, and manage inventory.

You will lead staff, participate in hiring, coaching, and scheduling while ensuring cleanliness and sanitary procedures. Morning, swing, or graveyard shifts may apply. The role offers comprehensive benefits within a world-class hospitality company.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2+ years of prior relevant stewarding experience.
• Flexible to work Morning, Swing, or Graveyard shifts as needs require.
• Experience managing employees covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned operational functions within the department aligned with the strategic plan and budget.
• Supervise the delivery and measurement of guest service to meet brand standards.
• Supervise staff including hiring recommendations, coaching, performance feedback, and scheduling.
• Provide ideas for new products, services, technology, and processes.
• Inspect equipment and kitchen areas to maintain cleanliness and sanitary procedures.
• Requisition and approve cleaning supplies and equipment while controlling costs.
• Maintain inventory and records for dinnerware, flatware, and glassware; order replacements.
