Job summary

The Cosmopolitan, part of MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, seeks an Assistant Executive Steward to oversee the stewarding department and uphold the highest kitchen cleanliness and safety standards.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and coordinate purchasing while partnering with Food & Beverage leadership to deliver consistent service and brand quality. A 21+ age requirement and CBAs experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2+ years of prior stewarding experience.
• Flexible to Morning, Swing, or Graveyard shifts.
• Experience with agreements under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned stewarding operations in alignment with the department's strategic plan and budget.
• Oversee guest service standards and ensure a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.
• Manage staff hiring, training, coaching, performance feedback, and scheduling.
• Monitor equipment, order supplies, and maintain inventory of dinnerware, glassware, and silverware.
• Coordinate with leadership on cost controls and process improvements.
