Job summary

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, part of MGM Resorts International, seeks a Senior Executive Assistant Steward to manage stewarding operations and contribute to guest experiences with a welcoming service mindset.

Responsibilities include HR leadership, labor relations support, training programs, policy implementation, and coordination with vendors and Health Department to ensure compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in stewarding within the hotel/casino industry.
• Experience in multi-venue stewarding operations and/or banquet stewarding operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage stewarding operations to meet and exceed department goals.
• Oversee HR responsibilities: hiring, training, diversity, employee satisfaction, quality hiring, training and succession planning.
• Investigate stewarding labor relations issues and provide counseling.
• Oversee on-the-job training and development programs for stewarding managers.
• Implement F&B policies, procedures and training programs for stewarding staff.
• Coordinate purchases for Food & Beverage outlet needs and fill outlet requisitions.
• Ensure staff are trained in stewarding policies and equipment use.
• Liaise with contract companies and coordinate with outside vendors and Health Department.
• Perform walk-through inspections of kitchen areas.
